A note on natural stone
No two are the same.
That is not a disclaimer.
That is the whole point.
A factory makes identical things. A mine does not. Every inclusion, every colour band, every veil inside a stone formed over millions of years under specific conditions that will never repeat. You are not buying a product with a defect. You are buying the record of something that happened once.
Colour banding
Amethyst grows in layers. Deeper purple at the tip, lighter toward the base is not uneven quality — it is how the mineral crystallised, recording changes in iron concentration over time. A completely uniform stone is the rarer and more unusual one.
Veils & inclusions
The white wisps and internal clouds you see in some pieces are liquid or gas trapped during crystallisation — sometimes hundreds of millions of years old. In Super Seven stones, the brown and red threads are separate minerals growing inside the quartz. I photograph these rather than light them out.
Screen colour
Amethyst under different light sources shifts dramatically — violet indoors, blue-purple in daylight, nearly red under incandescent. I photograph in natural daylight because that is the most honest version. Your screen calibration will shift it further. When colour matters to you, ask me for a second photo in different light before you order.
